Afterpay

• Great for your logbook servicing and smaller repairs
• The application process takes approx 5-10 minutes
• Interest free finance options available from $100 – $2,000
• Finance the whole invoice amount or partial amount
• You will need enough credit in your Afterpay account and limits vary from person to person. Best to log in to your Afterpay account and check your limit.
• There may be an initial deposit/payment taken from your credit card Visa/MasterCard debit on application

Humm

• Previously Certegy Ezy-pay and Oxipay!
• Great for your logbook service and other repairs.
• Application process takes approx 15-20 minutes.
• Interest-free finance options available from $100 – $4,000.
• Finance the whole invoice amount or a partial amount.
• 25% deposit (or more) required (paid to us) on collection.
• Fortnightly payments directly debited from a nominated bank account.
• Option to pay off 2 1/2 or 5 months for amounts up to $2,000.
• Option to pay off 12 or 18 months for amounts between $2,000-$4,000.
• You can apply online for a pre-approval or we can carry out an application in the office.

Zip

• Great for your logbook service and other repairs.
• Application process takes approx 5-10 minutes.
• Interest-free finance options available from $100 – $5,000.
• Finance the whole invoice amount or a partial amount.
• You will need enough credit in your Zip account and limits vary from person to person.  Best to log into your Zip account and check your limit.
• There may be an initial deposit/payment taken from your credit card Visa/Mastercard debit on the application.

FAQS

1. Which is the better option - Afterpay, Humm or Zip?

This depends on you and what above options suit you best. We find that Humm & Afterpay are the most popular because you can finance amounts as small as $100!

2. Is it possible to combine 2 or more options? Example, total amount is $1500, is it possible to finance $500 through ZipPay, $500 thru Humm, $400 thru Afterpay and the rest in cash?

Yes, this is definitely possible! You will/may need to be pre-approved or check the pre-approval before you can use them. You will also need to remember the deposit amounts required for each payment plan option.

3. Is there a chance I don’t get approved?

Yes, there is a chance you may not get approved and this is something you will need to discuss directly with Afterpay, Humm and/or Zip so you know what you can do to be approved.

*Note: – Zip do carry out a credit check when you create your account.

4. Are the payment options available for ALL kinds of car service? Are there services that can’t be financed?

You can use either finance option for anything we offer here at Ipswich City Mechanical. From a car service to brakes or electrical repairs; any of the services we offer are available to you!

5. Are they really interest-free? Are there any hidden charges?

YES! They’re really interest-free! No hidden charges whatsoever! Humm does have an application charge and a direct debit charge. All information is shown during your application process and available on their website.
